Plain language, no legalese. What Trovepage collects, where it lives, and what we never do with it.

What we collect

  • Creator accounts. Sign-up and login (email, or Google sign-in) are handled by AWS Cognito. We store the profile you create — name, page slug, links, and voice-training samples — so we can render your page.
  • Your LLM API key (BYOK). Envelope-encrypted with AWS KMS and AES-256-GCM before it is stored. It is never logged, never sent to any browser, and is only decrypted server-side to call your chosen LLM provider on your behalf.
  • Visitors to public pages. An anonymous, cookie-based visitor ID. No visitor accounts, no cross-site tracking.
  • Chat transcripts.Conversations with a creator's AI concierge are stored in that creator's data tables (AWS DynamoDB) so the creator can review them in their dashboard.
  • Emails.A visitor's email address is stored only when the visitor intentionally submits it in chat (for example, to join a creator's newsletter). It lands in that creator's Trovepage dashboard and is exportable by the creator anytime.

Where it lives

All data is stored on AWS in the us-east-1 region (Cognito for auth, DynamoDB for data, S3 for uploads, KMS for key encryption).

What we never do

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for their own use, or train AI models on your content or your visitors' conversations.
